My Journey to YYGS

Last summer, I went to Cambridge’s summer programme and I had a really great time, it became one of the experiences I won’t forget in a lifetime. This summer I wanted to go to a summer programme again. When I talked to my counselor about this issue, he directed me to the YYGS programme, and this process started. Since I also really wanted to go to the United States, I was happy about attending this elite summer school. Being selected among 13 thousand people made me and my family incredibly happy. Also, the economic situation in Turkiye is terrible. Turkish Lira is melting away against the dollar every passing day. Given the current situation, $6,500 is considerable in Turkey, so financial aid was great news for me. It is very exciting for me to participate in this program, in which unique and outstanding people worldwide participate. Moreover, having already established connections with the participants of 2025 and met these people on the Internet makes me even more excited that this process has already started.
